TASTING NOTES
Aroma: Bright and inviting from the first nosing. The whiskey opens with a fresh, lifted profile that immediately signals clarity. Soft nutty tones develop into a gentle marzipan sweetness, supported by light pastry notes and warm grain. Underneath, subtle floral hints and a touch of citrus keep the nose lively and refined, adding an unexpected dimension of freshness.
Palate: The first sip reveals a beautifully integrated and harmonious balance. Fresh, sweet American oak provides structure without overshadowing the complexity beneath. Layers of caramelised stone fruit unfold gradually; apricot, peach skin and a suggestion of brûléed orange glide across the palate. A soft, warming spice begins to build mid-palate, merging with a candy-like sweetness reminiscent of honey drops and golden toffee. The texture is polished and mouth-coating, offering richness while retaining an elegant lift.
Finish: The finish evolves with remarkable clarity and persistence. A bright lemon peel note rises first, followed by vibrant citrus oils that refresh the palate while allowing the underlying sweetness to linger. Oak and fruit remain in graceful tension as the flavours stretch out, creating a long and luminous aftertaste that continues to unfold well after the sip.
